...Summer family sessions #2

...and some additional beautiful family sessions in the Lower Mainland over the past few weeks. Every family brings with it their own joie de vivre, their own reason for photos. Coupled with it some amazing settings, and we have had a magical time capturing summer photos.

It's summertime. Along with the summer comes beautiful sunshine, long days, beach fun sessions taking advantage of our gorgeous Pacific Northwest summertime weather. I've had the opportunity to work with families of all shapes and sizes these past few weeks, in a myriad of locations. Interested in your own summer session? ...and yet another baby girl

The final day of June saw my final newborn session of the month. Once again, like all of the babies before her, it was a sweet little girl. Talk about a run of pinks and sparkles! Baby V is a very loved little baby. Her mom is a designer, so we had a great time picking outfits, props and colour schemes together. They also brought a very sweet stuffed animal - a bunny that had been daddy's stuffed animal as a little boy. I love using the special props of my clients, and this one was no exception - the stuffed animal wasn't particularly big, and yet, neither was our sweet little newborn. Another sweet baby girl

Last year, I had the pleasure of meeting the beautiful W family during my Mommy & me sessions. Their daughter was just shy of a year at the time, and absolutely adorable. So adorable, in fact, that if you've seen my business card, you may recognize her shy smile! Mom contacted me a few months ago to book their newborn session in anticipation of baby girl #2. Little girl entered the family a few weeks ago, and they're now a bustling and active family of 4. The family joined me in-studio last week for their newborn session, and we had a great time.
